Department of Civil Engineering

Civil Engineering Department was established in year 1956 with 60 students intake. Well qualified teaching staff & well trained supporting staff is in the department. Department has well equipped labs with modern equipments. Alumni of department are well placed in various sectors & holding top position in state/central govt. organization. Department has good facilities for testing & consultancy work.

Why Civil Engineering?

Civil Engineering is a field with a high demand for professionals. As our cities grow and infrastructure ages, there is a constant need for engineers to design, construct, and maintain roads, bridges, buildings, and other civic structures.

Civil engineering offers a wide range of career paths. Diploma holders can work in various sectors, including construction, transportation, environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, and structural engineering. This versatility allows individuals to explore different aspects of the field and find their niche.

After Completion of Diploma can take admission in 2nd year of B.Tech./B.E. in Civil Engineering and will get so many opportunities for his/her career.
